SMPro slot accounting system and others support systems installed on new cruise ship

Iverson Gaming Systems, Inc. has successfully installed its Iverson SMPro slot accounting system, as well as a new, integrated gaming floor mapping capability, and other gaming support functions on the MSC Splendida cruise ship. The MSC Splendida was formally christened earlier this month at Barcelona, Spain.

The new installation will provide slot accounting support for some 180 slots in the Splendida’s on-board casino, which features machines from IGT, Williams and Unidesa among others. In addition, Iverson deployed a new capability – the Iverson Jackpot Viewer – which allows casino players to track jackpot wins anywhere in the casino from a large central display which also carries other shipboard and cruise information.

The Splendida installation represents the fifth MSC ship to use Iverson technology to manage their gaming environments. Iverson systems now also support the MSC Musica, MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia and MSC Fantasia.

“We continue to build our business around innovations which help gaming management manage better,” said Joanne W. Iverson, company president. We are proud to be working with the MSC organization in helping to make their cruise line gaming environments among the most advanced in the industry. This installation of the Iverson system on the Splendida continues to strengthen our leadership in cruise gaming, and features new capabilities which have been in development over the last 18 months.”
