Super wide screens from JCM Global are perfect for jackpot displays
Things at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, Calif., are looking sharper, brighter and wider than ever, thanks to a large order of “stretch” LCD monitors from JCM Global. JCM Global provided a total visual solution for the casino that includes forty 38.1” stretch monitors situated around the property that replaced the casino’s existing LED jackpot displays. The stretch monitors are specially designed in a “stretched” format, meaning they present hi-def images and video in a 17:5 aspect ratio, making them a super wide screen for jackpot displays.
Additionally, JCM Global provided seventy-eight 40” flat screen monitors on various end-caps throughout the casino, replacing posters and other displays.
The new monitors give Thunder Valley Casino increased flexibility in marketing and promotional capabilities. As opposed to the limited capabilities of the LED displays, the new monitors enable the casino to utilize a variety of messaging options, including video and rotating still images, to communicate more interactively with customers.
“These new monitors give us a vibrant, new way to communicate with our customers,” said Dave Frankhouser, corporate director of gaming operations for Station Casinos, which holds the management contract with Thunder Valley Casino. “Thunder Valley is an exciting place to play, and we want to bring all of that excitement to our customers in the most dynamic manner possible, and we found that solution with JCM Global.” JCM Global represents a wide range of monitor brands for digital display solutions.
Available display types include LCD, plasma, specialty displays and the recently introduced stretch panels. The commercial-quality displays are perfect for denomination toppers, digital signage, in-house advertising, in-room entertainment, jackpot meters and video walls.
