Company also has been selected for the 2009 Best of Cleveland Award in the Laboratories category by the USLBA

Independent testing laboratory Eclipse Compliance Testing, a division of Nick Farley & Associates, Inc. (NFA), has received its ISO 17025 accreditation from The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for Information Technology Testing, further establishing its position as a technically competent lab in the marketplace.

The accreditation granted by A2LA encompasses software and hardware tests on electronic gaming devices, including lottery and server-based systems. Commented Janice Farley, vice president of eclipse Compliance Testing, “We are very excited to receive this accreditation from one of the world’s foremost laboratory accreditation bodies. Although many of the methods we employ in our testing processes were already in place, this journey brought our team even closer as they worked collaboratively to apply the principles of ISO. I am really proud of our whole staff.” The accreditation came on the firm’s first try.

In addition, for the second year in a row, Eclipse Compliance Testing has been selected for the 2009 Best of Cleveland Award in the Laboratories category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Nationwide, only 1 in 70 (1.4 percent) 2008 Award recipients qualified as 2009 Award Winners.
