Atlantic City saw the opening of its second casino in as many months when Golden Nugget Atlantic City officially opened for business in April.

The property, a $150 million renovation of the former Trump Marina Casino, features a fresh, modern look that includes a high-energy casino featuring the most popular slot and video poker machines, table games and poker room, according to company literature. The resort also has nightly entertainment, new bars and lounges, stylish retail offerings, as well as signature world‐class restaurants such as Chart House and Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse; a luxury spa and salon; and H20 poolside lounge.

“The transformative renovation of the Golden Nugget will only increase the awareness of the already highly recognized Golden Nugget brand,” said Tilman J. Fertitta, chairman, CEO, and owner of Landry’s, the parent of Golden Nugget, in a prepared statement.

Golden Nugget currently operates casino hotels in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nev., and recently signed a deal to purchase and re-brand an existing casino in Biloxi, Miss.
