Promoted to vice president and general manager at Edgewater Casino in Vancouver


Edgewater Casino announces Paul Ahluwalia has been named vice president and general manager of the gaming organization. Ahluwalia, who was previously the assistant general manager of Edgewater, will now assume the primary management role and oversee all day-to-day operations. He will be responsible for the future growth strategy of the company.

Ahluwalia has over 11 years of casino experience in the BC Gaming & Entertainment Industry. From his industry start in slots all the way to senior management, he has excelled at every level of service and understands the business inside and out. Ahluwalia’s passion for gaming and ability to create a thriving organization has helped him become a recognized leader in BC’s casino industry.  

During his career, he has helped open three casinos, and in 2006 he began his integral role with the takeover team tasked with re-launching the Edgewater Casino to become Vancouver’s premier downtown casino. Guests enjoy table games such as Baccarat, Roulette, and Blackjack, and over 500 slot machines. The casino also contains the revamped 290-seat Stadium Club renowned for hosting everything from pay-per-view sports events on their three 18’ big screens to exclusive red carpet events.
