Beau Rivage Resort & Casino has promoted Mark Peterson to senior sales manager. Peterson’s primary responsibilities include managing group room sales to maximize revenue and increasing occupancy percentage. He also procures group room sales and maintains contact with established and prospective clients. His clients are mainly in Alabama, Georgia, the Midwest regions and major incentive markets.
Peterson joined the Beau Rivage team in 2002 as a convention sales manager. During his tenure with Beau, he has been nominated as a Supervisor in the Spotlight and completed MGM Resorts International’s Diversity Champion program.
Peterson has been a longtime member of many professional industry associations including the Alabama Council and Georgia Society of Association Executives, the Association Forum of Chicago, Meeting Professionals International, the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives, and the Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association.<
