Received the “Special Advocate” award from the National Asian Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Harrah’s Entertainment received three awards at the 16th annual National Asian Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held recently in Santa Monica, Calif., one of them, the “Special Advocate” award, going to Fred Keeton, the company’s chief diversity officer and vice president of external affairs. Harrah’s also was honored with the “Corporate Advocate” and the “2009’s Best Companies for Asian Pacific Americans” awards. Hosted by Asian Enterprise, a leading U.S. magazine focusing on Asian-American small business, the awards recognize exemplary Asian- and Pacific-American entrepreneurs, the best companies for Asian- and Pacific-Americans and outstanding individuals from America’s Fortune 500 companies.
