FutureLogic, a California-based developer and supplier of solutions for the gaming industry including high-reliability printer equipment and in-game promotional couponing solutions, has appointed John Edmunds to vice president-product management & international markets; and Bill VanderKooi to field application engineer for the Midwest region.
In his new role, Edmunds takes over the leadership of FutureLogic’s Product Management Committee, where he will work with senior management to oversee strategic marketing and FutureLogic’s new product strategies and road maps. Edmunds will continue to report to Eric Meyerhofer, FutureLogic CEO. As part of his new responsibilities, Edmunds will be relocating to the company’s corporate offices in Glendale, Calif.
Edmunds joined FutureLogic in 2004 and has over 11 years executive management experience. While at FutureLogic, he held several key positions including vice president of international markets, managing director for FutureLogic Europe, FutureLogic Asia and FutureLogic Australia, and general manager of FutureLogic Europe. Edmunds will continue to lead FutureLogic’s international businesses alongside his new product management role.”
Prior to joining FutureLogic, VanderKooi worked for nine years at International Game Technology (IGT), where he started as a remote field technician and eventually was promoted to field service technician. His skills proved to be invaluable as he provided comprehensive field support and maintenance on EGMs and associated communication architecture. Prior to joining IGT, VanderKooi worked as a slot technician at the Isle of Capri Casino in Kansas City, Mo., where he was responsible for repair and maintenance of games on the casino floor.
