Stefan Huba has been appointed vice president of food and beverage for Peninsula Gaming.
As vice president of food and beverage, he will work closely with Peninsula Gaming’s operations and brand leadership teams to develop high-quality food and beverage experiences for its four casino properties, which include 14 restaurants.
An industry veteran, Huba brings more than 20 years of hospitality and facilities operations experience to Peninsula. His previous experience includes helping to transition the Empress-Horseshoe properties to Jack Binion’s Horseshoe and Horseshoe-Harrah’s, assisting in the master planning of the Harrah’s Resort Tunica and Prairie Band casinos, and leading design and operations for Horseshoe Hammond’s new $500 million facility in 2008.
Peninsula also announced that Jim Rafferty has been named vice president of marketing.
As vice president of marketing, he will oversee all marketing and advertising activities for Peninsula’s casinos and will be responsible for customer relationship management, direct mail marketing, driving participation in players club and loyalty programs, working with corporate creative staff to produce outstanding advertising and creative communications, developing engaging promotions, media buying and strategic marketing efforts.
Prior to his role at Peninsula, Rafferty was vice president of marketing at Monticello Casino and Raceway in New York, and was principal and president of New Hampshire Charitable Gaming, LLC. For 10 years he also operated his own consulting firm, Rafferty and Associates, providing marketing strategy and direction for casino and entertainment companies nationwide.
