Carole Hedinger has been named Region I director of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries.



Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey State Lottery, has been named Region I director of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL). She joins 10 other members of the executive committee who are elected by their peers to represent their region for a one-year term.

Hedinger has been leading the New Jersey State Lottery since her appointment by Governor Chris Christie in June 2010 and her previous lottery experience includes serving as the lottery’s deputy executive director from 1994 through 2002 and acting executive director from 2002 through 2003.

Along with the New Jersey Lottery, the Region I members are: Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Connecticut Lottery, Delaware State Lottery, Loto-Québec, Maine State Lottery, Maryland State Lottery, Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, New Hampshire Lottery Commission, New York State Lottery, Pennsylvania Lottery, Rhode Island Lottery and Vermont Lottery.
