The continuing development of the Florida gaming market will be explored at the Florida Gaming Summit, which takes place October 19-20 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Now in its fifth year, the Summit annually attracts hundreds of gaming executives and other industry professionals from the Sunshine State and beyond.
Leading the event will be keynote speakers James F. Allen, Chief Executive Officer, Gaming Operations, for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, who will provide the morning address on October 20, and Virginia McDowell, President and Chief Operating Officer of Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc., who will make the luncheon keynote presentation later that day.
For the first time, the City of Hollywood and the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce are the exclusive presenting sponsors of the Summit.
The two-day event begins with an evening cocktail reception on October 19, followed by a full day of in-depth seminars with plenty of networking opportunities. Session topics include updates on racetrack and tribal gaming, a review of table games and poker, the view from Wall Street and a look at the politics of Florida gaming.
