Bally Technologies has announced DRGT Europe as its distributor for slot machines and related equipment in Belgium.

“We are delighted to be the new distributor for Bally and add its great products to our overall offerings,” said Jurgen De Munck, DRGT’s chief executive officer.

“Recent changes in gaming regulations in Belgium allow for linked progressives; Bally and DRGT are working closely to introduce these products to the market and offer the proven benefits of Bally products to the Belgian operators and their players.”

In October, DRGT moved to a new, 9,000-square-foot facility in Knokke-Heist, Flanders, Belgium, where all maintenance and support of Bally products will be handled. The expanded facility enables DGRT to guarantee a quicker turnaround of machines for operators.

“DRGT will be a great partner for us as we look to further increase our market share and presence in Belgium,” said Marco Herrera, Bally vice president and managing director of Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Bally has an excellent reputation in linked progressives, and we are convinced this will give us the opportunity to re-launch Bally in Belgium.”

Bally noted the agreement exemplifies the company’s commitment to expanding its product presence in Europe by partnering with both operators and distributors to offer the latest and most compelling innovations to players throughout the important markets in this region.
