Northstar Lottery Group, LLC has selected BMM to test its new lottery product for the Illinois market. Northstar Lottery Group, a partnership of GTECH, Scientific Games Corporation and Energy BBDO, was created to operate the nation's first outsourced state lottery. The RFP directs BMM to assist in testing efforts from a User Acceptance Testing point of view to ensure that the new Lottery CMS is working in accordance with technical documents and meets jurisdictional requirements.

Drew Pawlak, BMM senior vice president of business development, Americas, noted that “Following BMM's appointment as primary service provider to the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) for certification services for all gaming products, the Northstar Lottery is an excellent win for BMM and we are very excited to work with the Northstar Lottery Group. BMM has a very long history of working with lotteries internationally. In 2010 we won several significant RFP's here in North America and I am glad to see it continuing into 2011 with Northstar.”

Martin Storm, BMM global resident and CEO added, “This is yet another competitive RFP win for BMM in the US gaming market. BMM has now been in the US for over 10 years and we are very close to completing our licensing in the commercial and tribal casino markets. We have made the strategic decision to begin the same market development efforts in the lottery markets in the US. We see the lottery market as a key driver to new technologies, and these could very well lead the way in the iGaming space here in North America.”

BMM also recently announced it is now the only independent test lab, of any kind, to be licensed by the PRTC, Puerto Rico Tourism Company, and qualified to submit test reports.

The PRTC is one of the oldest jurisdictions with legalized gaming dating back to 1948. The Puerto Rico Tourism Company oversees all gaming activities and regulates some 20 casinos for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

This year, 2011, is BMM’s 30th year in the gaming testing industry and we are pleased to join forces with the PRTC to offer services to the growing casino business on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
