Holland Casino to use Gaming Support's SlotTimer

Gaming Support has reached a definitive agreement with Holland Casino covering the purchase and installation of SlotTimer. Under the terms of the agreement, Holland Casino will use SlotTimer across all 14 of its domestic casino venues in The Netherlands.

Greektown first Detroit casino to install Ainsworth games

Greektown Casino-Hotel has installed 24 new Ainsworth slots on the casino floor, making Greektown the first casino to install the games in Detroit.

Iverson system installed on MSC Splendida

Iverson Gaming Systems, Inc. has successfully installed its Iverson SMPro slot accounting system, as well as a new, integrated gaming floor mapping capability, and other gaming support functions on the MSC Splendida cruise ship. The MSC Splendida was formally christened earlier this month at Barcelona, Spain.

The new installation will provide slot accounting support for some 180 slots in the Splendida’s on-board casino, which features machines from IGT, Williams and Unidesa among others. In addition, Iverson deployed a new capability – the Iverson Jackpot Viewer – which allows casino players to track jackpot wins anywhere in the casino from a large central display which also carries other shipboard and cruise information.

The Splendida installation represents the fifth MSC ship to use Iverson technology to manage gaming environments.

AGEM announces SAGSE partnership

The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has entered into a strategic alliance with international gaming event organizer Monografie for AGEM to support the South American Gaming Suppliers Exhibition (SAGSE) in Buenos Aires for an initial two-year term.

Under terms of the agreement, AGEM will be classified as an Ambassador Level supporter and receive a variety of branding and PR opportunities as Monografie promotes the trade show, which is set this year for Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Costa Salguero Convention Center in Argentina’s capital city.

AGEM-member companies also will receive substantial benefits for exhibiting at the largest gaming trade show in Latin American, now in its 17th year.

“This is an important agreement for AGEM members because it brings together all of the leading gaming suppliers, anchored by the big slot companies, and the largest trade show targeting buyers from active gaming markets in Argentina and throughout South America,” said AGEM President Thomas A.
