Raving’s Cutting Edge Table Games Conference, to be held November 18-20 at Paris Las Vegas, will tackle a unique set of table game topics that can’t be found at any other gaming event, led by a keynote address by Debra Nutton, executive vice president of casino operations, Wynn Resorts.

Nutton, a leading table games operations expert who joined Wynn this year after spending over two decades at MGM Resorts International, will give an in-depth answer to the question, “Is It Time for Women to Take the Reins of Table Game Strategy and Operations?” Nutton replaces Gavin Isaacs, CEO of SHFL entertainment, who is restricted from public speaking pending the completion of the SHFL/Bally Technologies merger.

“Debi Nutton has shattered one of the toughest glass ceilings in our industry and will be able to point out the opportunities missed and the management potential wasted if the extent of your table game gender diversity program is female dealers and party pit dancers,” said Dennis Conrad, president and chief strategist, Raving Consulting Company, which co-produces the event with BNP Media Gaming Group, publishers of Casino Journal . “Debi also happens to be one of the most articulate and knowledgeable speakers in our industry on the topic of table games generally. We are thrilled that she will be our featured keynote speaker, which is consistent with our mission to ensure Raving’s Cutting Edge Table Games Conference is an event filled with one-of-a-kind learning opportunities.”

Nutton will headline a program that includes 10 breakout sessions over 2.5 days and an additional keynote by Robin Powell, principal, The Talisman Group, and creator of EZ Baccarat, the winner of the 2008 Casino Journal Best New Table Games Competition, which will again be a primary feature of the event.

Other new and noteworthy topics from this November’s conference include, “Why We Are Growing And More Profitable - The Table Game Operators Roundtable,” “The Inventors/Operators Roundtable, When Self-Interests Collide: Inventors And Operators Discuss How To Make A New Table Game Successful” and, “What You Can Learn From Table Game Players Who Are Smarter Than All Of Us.”
