Outside ofAsiaand online wagering, upward trends involving the legalized gaming industry seem few and far between these days. So when one appears, such as the ongoing attendance growth at the ICE Totally Gaming trade show and exposition, it is only right to recognize it and congratulate the parties involved for a job well done in what can generously be described as a difficult market.

According to show organizer Clarion Events, ICE Totally Gaming had a 2013 audited attendance of 22,247, a 4.3 percent increase over 2012 figures, and an 8.6 percent and 17.8 percent uptick over 2011 and 2010 attendance numbers respectively. Plans have been in the works to make this year’s show, which will take place February 4-6 at ExCel in London, another record breaker.

“This will be our second year at ExCeL and we are not resting on our laurels,” said Jo Mayer, ICE marketing director. “We understand that we need to continue our investment in the ICE brand in order to continue to secure the loyalty of our stakeholders, the majority of whom travel to London from outside the United Kingdom.”

To that end, ICE will feature new and innovative conference and networking opportunities at this year’s show. For 2014 ICE has created a new high-level networking and business program in partnership with the International Association of Gaming Advisors, International Association of Gaming Regulators, the European Casino Association and the National Casino Forum. Christened the World Regulatory Assembly at ICE, the free-entry event will open with a pre-show cocktail evening on Monday night at the Tower of London and will be followed by the World Regulatory Briefing, which is a high level, in-depth day focusing on regulation updates in key jurisdictions.

The conference portion of ICE consists of eight high-level targeted tracks covering topics such as mobile gaming, game design and development, CRM, social gaming and cybercrime. Eight free seminars are also part of the conference program, with topics ranging from Bitcoin and iGaming to digital security and gaming opportunities in India.

Equally integral to the ICE experience is the event’s burgeoning trade show floor, where every gaming sector is represented be it betting, bingo, casino, lottery, mobile, online, social or street gaming. This year’s show boasts 67 new exhibitors from 30 countries, who will be joining hundreds of traditional gaming companies displaying their latest products and technologies on one of the industry’s largest trade show floors.

In recognition of ICE Totally Gaming and its growing importance to the gaming market in Europe and aboard,Casino Journal offered vendors a chance to describe the items they will be showcasing at the event in their own words. Here are some of the responses:
