Incredible Technologies (IT), an emerging Class III gaming manufacturer, welcomes Jim Palermo as vice president of product development and Shail Patel as their new regional account manager.

Palermo will oversee departments and teams vital to the creative execution of game design, production and mathematics. The company will also leverage his experience to provide executive strategy and insight in supporting their new platform rollout anticipated to come to market later this year.

Palermo brings eight years of gaming experience from WMS Gaming, where he served in various roles including senior mathematician, principle game strategist and director of product performance and insight. While at WMS, Palermo played an integral development role in some of their most successful products including the original Wizard of Oz, The Lord of the Rings and Life of Luxury Progressive. Palermo has previous experience as an options trader and has received dualMaster’s Degrees in mathematics and business administration from Temple University.

Patel will continue the strategic rollout of IT games in California as well as open the market for IT’s most recently approved jurisdiction, Colorado.

Patel brings 10 years of gaming experience to the company, ranging from slot floor management, slot analytics and general casino operation management. Patel joins IT most recently from San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in California where he served as a slot performance analyst.

Patel received his MBA in finance from California State University in San Bernardino, Calif.



Rampart Casino has appointed Joanne Farwellas bingo manager in preparation for its new Bingo Room, opening this spring. Farwell will be responsible for all operations of the casino’s latest addition including safeguarding assets, hiring personnel, reviewing reports, growing and sustaining business, preparing budgets, customer service and more.

Farwell makes a great fit for the project, having previously assisted with the opening of bingo halls at Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and TheHotel Nevada & Gambling Hall. She’s also spent the last eight years as a bingo supervisor at South Point Hotel & Casino where her duties included sales, customer service, employee supervision, money handling, and troubleshooting, among others.

Farwell received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Phoenix.

The 300-player?capacity Bingo Room, located adjacent to Rampart Casino’s Buffet, will offer players top?of-the?line technology with a FortuNet, Inc. BingoStar system and nonsmoking section.



Red Square Gaming has hired Cyril Guichard as creative director. A native of Paris, France, and veteran of the agency business, Guichard will drive all creative strategies and concepts across the agency’s clients and lead Red Square Gaming’s growing creative team.

Guichard’s particular area of expertise lies in developing rich, interactive experiences and engaging content through gamification, a growing area of the gaming industry.

Prior to joining Red Square Gaming, Guichard was the creative director for BFG Communications Group in Hilton Head, S.C. and co-founder of indie game design studio Garage Collective LLC. Guichard is most well known for his work on Camel cigarettes. He has also served clients including Coca-Cola, Mellow Mushroom and Cartoon Network.

Wynn Resorts has hired Robert J. DeSalvio to assist with the company’s development activities.

An experienced resort developer and operator, DeSalvio will primarily focus on the company’s proposed resort in Everett, Mass. The company plans to build a $1.6 billion resort, featuring a five-star hotel and spa, luxury shopping and dining esplanade, winter garden and casino.

 DeSalvio has held executive positions in sales, marketing, resort operations and strategic planning. He served as an executive vice president for both Sands Atlantic City and Foxwoods Resort Casino. Most recently, DeSalvio was president of Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pa. He led the development, construction, government relations and staffing of the resort before opening.
