The conference program and keynote speakers are set for the second annual Midwest Gaming Summit to be held June 2-3 at the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill.

This year’s program includes an opening afternoon marketing workshop, “Profitable Marketing,” led by Chad German, president/CEO, Red Circle Agency, and six sessions, up from five. An opening keynote address will be given by Illinois State Rep. Louis I. Lang, deputy majority leader, 16th District, and the luncheon keynoter will be Ginny Shanks, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, Pinnacle Entertainment Company.

“We are pleased to be back in Rosemont where the inaugural Midwest Gaming Summit featured a sold-out exhibit floor and was very well received by over 250 attendees,” said Randy Green, group publisher, BNP Media Gaming Group. “This year’s program will build on that momentum, establishing the Summit as an essential networking, educational and public policy gaming event in the region.”

“Profitable Marketing,” a three-hour workshop, focusing on casino marketer effectiveness and efficiency across multiple media channels and disciplines such as brand building and advertising, will precede the opening night reception on the trade show floor on Monday, June 2.

Topics for the full-day program on June 3 will include a regional operator roundtable; financial outlook; legal and regulatory update; the Illinois video gaming market; facility design and reinvestment and online and social media.
