Gaming and technology professional Rory Fagan has been named director of casino sales for Duetto, a Las Vegas-based innovator in software-as-a-service hotel revenue strategy solutions.

In his new role, Fagan will drive further adoption of Duetto GameChanger—an entirely web-based revenue strategy application developed by gaming veterans to meet the unique challenges of modern casino hotels and resorts.

Prior to joining Duetto, Fagan led sales efforts for SAS, a business analytics software and services company, focusing on the hospitality and gaming market for six years. Previously, he held key sales management positions with leading travel industry companies, such as PROS, Hertz, United Airlines and Sabre Hospitality Solutions.



Donna Kimmel has joined GTECH’s senior management team to help lead its global human resources organization. As senior vice president of human resources, she will be responsible for overseeing human resources operations for GTECH’s Americas and international regions as well as the centralized products and services organization and corporate-level human resources functions. She will report to Robert K. Vincent, GTECH senior vice president of human resources and public affairs.

Kimmel brings more than 25 years of experience to GTECH, having served in various senior human resources leadership positions with Texas Instruments and Sensata Technologies. Most recently, she held the position of senior vice president and global chief human resources officer at Sensata Technologies (formally the Sensors & Controls Business at Texas Instruments) where she oversaw a 90-person global human resources team.



Will Daugherty has joined International Game Technology (IGT) as general manager of DoubleDown Interactive.

A seasoned veteran of the e-commerce, online travel and mobile industries, Daugherty most recently served as vice president of Amazon Payments, where he led the business to substantial growth in number of customers and revenue. Previously, as president of destination services and Expedia Local Expert for Expedia, Daugherty delivered sustained revenue and profit growth, established a new brand, and launched operations in multiple international markets. He has also held executive roles at AT&T Wireless and McKinsey & Company.

In his new role, Daugherty will oversee the day-to-day management of DoubleDown Interactive.



MGM Resorts International has appointed Anton Nikodemus to the position of chief operating officer of MGM Resorts International regional operations.

In this new role, Nikodemus will report to Corey Sanders, COO for MGM Resorts, and oversee operations at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Miss.; Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Miss.; MGM Grand Detroit; development and operations at MGM National Harbor, scheduled to open in 2016 in Prince George’s County, Md., and MGM Springfield in Springfield, Mass. The opening of MGM Springfield is pending state approvals.

Nikodemus will work closely with the top officials at regional properties to accommodate the growth of MGM Resorts in regional markets, and to ensure consistency in policies and procedures at the regional level.

In this new capacity, Nikodemus will work closely with George Corchis Jr., president and COO of southern operations; Steve Zanella, president and COO of MGM Grand Detroit; Niklas Rytterstrom, general manager of Gold Strike-Tunica; Lorenzo Creighton, president and COO of MGM National Harbor, and Michael Mathis, president and COO of MGM Springfield.

Nikodemus joined MGM Resorts in 2005 and has served as senior vice president of hotel operations for MGM Grand Las Vegas and Bellagio; president and COO of Monte Carlo, and most recently as MGM Resorts president and COO of casino marketing.



Philip Krick Jr. has been appointed vice president and director of golf operations at Mohegan Sun.

In this new role Krick will oversee all aspects of Mohegan Sun Golf Club for the Uncasville, Conn.-based gaming resort. Krick’s responsibilities will include golf operations, clubhouse food and beverage, agronomy and special events.

Krick comes to Mohegan Sun with an extensive background in golf operations and management. He previously worked for Palace Resorts Golf as the general manager/director of golf in Cancun, Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Krick graduated from the University of Louisville in 1994 and brings 20 years of golf management experience to his new role. Krick achieved Professional Golfers of America’s Master Professional status in 2003.



Paul Cornish has joined Milwaukee, Wisc.-based Potawatomi Bingo Casino as its slots director. In his new role, Cornish will oversee more than 150 employees as well as the mix, layout and maintenance of nearly 3,000 slot machines on the gaming floor.

Cornish has more than 25 years of experience in slot operations at casinos across the country. He most recently served as director of gaming operations at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in Fresno, Calif.
