The annual Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association (OIGA) conference and trade show is set to take place this month, August 11-13, at the Cox Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The self-titled “Biggest Little Show in Indian Gaming,” is really not so small anymore; it’s celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is expected to attract upwards of 2,500 industry professionals from all over the country eager to learn more about what has become one of the nation’s largest slot machine markets.

Education will be at the forefront of this event, with over 40 breakout sessions that cover everything from customer behavior research and ethics in gaming to tips on background investigations and the latest advance in Class II and III gaming. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network at OIGA 2014, with an entertainment schedule that includes golf and poker tournaments, an opening night party, a reception on the trade show floor and an awards luncheon.

Of course, the recent big news coming out of IGT is its $6.4 billion sale to and merger with Italy-based GTECH last month. Konami Gaming is a Las Vegas-based leading designer and manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems for the global gaming market.

Lately, Konami’s efforts have centered on the introduction and dissemination of its dynamic, new Dungeons & Dragons slot machines, which debuted in May. Triple Bonus is a Latin bingo game consisting of a 3x5 bingo card instead of the typical 5x5 card. Triple Bonus is comprised of four bingo cards with 15 numbers each, players may choose to play from one card or all four. The game starts with 30 balls drawn from a virtual globe. After the 30 bingo balls have been drawn, players will have the chance at an extra bonus draw of up to 10 additional balls

Ace Mania is a bingo game with a joker as its main character. There are four cards with 15 numbers each, where 30 balls and 10 extra balls are drawn. This game has 12 prizes plus the jackpot. The big difference in this game is the Joker, which, when it appears, allows the player to choose the next number to be drawn from the 10 extra balls.
