Further solidifying its commitment to and relationship with the gaming industry in Latin America and the Caribbean, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) will play a major role at the upcoming SAGSE tradeshow. The company is organizing an important seminar as well as bringing its world-class testing and professional services to the tradeshow floor.
First, GLI South America is producing the Argentina Seminar on November 10 under the company’s GLI University® program. This critical seminar will be held in Buenos Aires at the Hotel NH City & Tower. The event will feature gaming experts from the region, including GLI South America speakers and Argentinean Regulators, and will cover key topics facing the Latin American and Caribbean gaming industry including:
• New federal regulations
• Kobetron features
• Sports betting
• Carbon footprint: gaming and the environment
• Data center architecture and ISS
• Regulator’s panel open forum
Then GLI will exhibit on the SAGSE tradeshow floor in booth #301. GLI professionals from its GLI South America laboratory and from several of its global locations will be on hand to meet with regulators, suppliers and operators. In addition to the company’s unsurpassed testing and certification services, GLI staff will present the company’s many professional services beyond testing, including WLA testing, auditing, IT security audits, rule-writing and consultation.
Javier Diaz, GLI South America Director, said, “Organizing an event of this magnitude implies above all, the honor of bringing together regulators and serious commitment from GLI to keeping them updated on all topics related to gaming and its constant technological advances. An event like this brings strong support for the gaming sector where regulators, manufacturers and players benefit from clear rules that result in increased safety and professionalism in the industry and technological renovation modernizing and enhancing Argentina worldwide. GLI South America is the right combination of work experience, with GLI’s cutting-edge technology, which shares international experience of more than 455 jurisdictions and the integrity and prestige of UNLP.”
GLI Director of Latin American Development Karen Sierra-Hughes said, “We are very excited with this year’s events in Argentina. We continue to grow together with regulators and suppliers, and we are happy to be part of the history and evolution that the region has experienced in recent years. We are committed to continue supporting regulators through our educational programs and supporting the industry by actively participating in exhibitions as SAGSE. We are looking forward for these two important events to continue to solidify our relations with the gaming and lottery industry in the Region.”
