The executive search firm specializing in the casino industry has named Heidi Cook as their vice president of business development.
Cook graduated from the University of Nevada Reno before beginning her career with International game Technology (IGT) where she was able to grow with the company for more than 20 years as an account manager. Following IGT, she joined Channel-Impact as their director of business development.
Cook said that the experiences and contacts gathered over those years are incredibly valuable, and will serve as an asset in her new position.
Incredible Technologies (IT) announced changes to its gaming sales team. Dan Schrementi was appointed vice president of gaming sales & marketing, Beena Blake was named vice president of strategic accounts and Ted Grevelis has been brought on as regional sales manager for Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Schrementi has played an important role in IT’s growth since their entry into the gaming market in 2005. He’s held various roles within marketing department, from director of gaming marketing, to vice president of gaming marketing in 2012. Now as vice president of gaming sales and marketing, he will continue to play a role in product market planning, corporate strategy and will lead the company’s gaming sales organization and U.S. market expansion.
Blake has also held various positions within IT over the last four years and brings over 25 years of casino gaming experience to the company. Blake’s experience includes over 21 years holding various managerial roles at International Game Technology (IGT). As vice president of strategic accounts, Blake will now be responsible for developing IT’s strategic account base and will utilize her extensive experience to maximize sales and revenue targets with volume-based customers.
Grevelis came to IT with over a decade of experience in the gaming industry most recently at FutureLogic as their business development manager for the Midwest region. Now as a regional sales manager, IT plans to leverage Grevelis’ knowledge of the Northern-Midwestern region to expand sales relationships in the important region for IT slot market expansion.
JW MARRIOTT LAS VEGAS RESORT/RAMPART CASINO
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Rampart Casino has promoted dedicated staff members Therese Sam to online marketing specialist and Beth Hart to marketing coordinator.
Longtime employee, Sam started her career at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Rampart Casino in 2003 as an administrative assistant to both the director of sales and marketing and director of group sales. From 2005 to 2014 she helped the resort research, plan, develop and implement a wide range of communications strategies as the marketing & public relations coordinator.
In June, Sam took over as the online marketing specialist. In her new role, she is responsible for enhancing the property’s visibility and growth on various social media outlets and online through campaigns, website development, newsletters and more.
With an extensive background in education, Hart switched fields in 2014 and started as a marketing intern at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Rampart Casino where she was quickly hired on full?time as the marketing coordinator. In her new position, she assists the marketing team with promoting brand awareness to the resort’s new and existing customers through advertising, direct mail, promotions, social media and more.
Las-Vegas based Metric Gaming has named its former chairman of the board, Peter Bertilsson, as the company’s new president and chief executive officer, followed by the appointment of Louis Castle as the new chairman of the board.
Bertilsson has been a top-level gaming executive and consultant since the late 1990’s, during which time he developed experience and expertise in the online and retail gaming sectors. As a CEO, Bertilsson’s notable track record includes leading Swedish-based Boss Media from operating at a loss in 2001 to becoming the best performing stock on the Swedish stock exchange within three years. Bertilsson moved to Las Vegas at the end of September to work full-time as CEO out of Metric’s headquarters in Las Vegas.
Castle joins Metric’s board of directors after having served as Shuffle Master’s chief strategy officer since October 2011, following his tenure as a member of Shuffle Master’s board for six years.

King of Prussia, Pa.-based Valley Forge Casino Resort has hired experienced gaming professional Jennifer Galle to serve as the company’s new chief marketing officer (CMO).
As CMO, Galle will design and execute strategies for the resort focusing on loyalty marketing, entertainment, hospitality and player development. Prior to joining VFCR, Galle served as vice president of marketing for Horseshoe Hammond in Chicago and as the director of marketing at Caesars Atlantic City. In both positions, Galle initiated and directed campaigns to provide innovative and unique experiences for visitors through dining, entertainment and strategic partnerships.
