Inspired, the leading provider of Virtual Sports, Mobile Games and SBG Video Lottery, announces that its Virtuals are now live in Sweden with ATG, both online and on mobile. It is the first time that virtual sports have been available in the country.
ATG is owned by the sports of harness and horse-racing and since its inception in 1974, has undertaken its mission and responsibility to serve the harness and horse-racing industry by generating additional income for the industry. ATG has launched Inspired’s Rush Horses and Rush Trotting products, both of which were customised for the Swedish market following player and market research projects. The events are streamed in HD to online and mobile players throughout Sweden.
Steve Rogers, CCO digital games at Inspired, comments: “We are delighted to be working with ATG and to be first to market in Sweden - it’s an exciting market with a strong pedigree in sports betting. It was crucial in the competitive tender process that we are able to provide the perfect virtual sports for Swedish players, especially trotting. Our ability to enter new markets quickly and establish the right product offering will drive significant incremental revenues for ATG. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Mikael Hagberg, manager business development, betting products and methods, ATG adds: “It’s great to have an experienced partner such as Inspired when entering a new line of products and launching our first online virtual sports product.”
Inspired has over a decade of experience launching its Virtual Sports in new markets; last year it launched its Virtuals in Italy, driving the development of a €1billion p.a. market. Inspired provides 11 sports and four numbers games to land-based, online and mobile operators across 50,000 venues and over 300 web and mobile sites, across 35 countries.
