Greentube Pro and Foxwoods partner to launch a social platform solution for land-based casinos
It is undeniable that we are living in a digital world. Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions and Foxwoods Resorts Casino, the Ledyard, Conn.-based property owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, recognize this and are working together to offer land-based casinos a business-to-business (B2B) solution for social online and mobile play.
Greentube and its parent company The Novomatic Group announced that Greentube Pro, the turn-key private-label social casino marketing platform from Greentube, will be the exclusive social casino platform for Foxwoods Resort Casino. In addition, Foxwoods Interactive—the digital arm of the Mashantucket Pequot Nation—will help market and sell the Greentube Pro solution to other U.S. gaming establishments.
By implementing Greentube Pro, Foxwoods will leverage the expansive library of games offered by Novomatic/Greentube. In addition, Foxwoods will benefit from Greentube’s advanced functionality and the ability to have a uniform brand presence on their social gaming site.

Greentube Pro was developed from the company’s experiences in the business-to-consumer (B2C) European market, and is designed to bring a B2B perspective that is otherwise lacking in the U.S. social gaming scene. “Our approach in the U.S. is B2B as a private-label social casino solution made for the operators, where we are not competing with them [operators] with one of our own brands at a national level,” said Gabriel Cianchetto, president of market development North American, Greentube. According to Cianchetto, as social gaming grew in the U.S., most companies were looking at the real-money end of the deal. While everyone was focused on real-money potential, Greentube saw opportunities to bring social casinos to the U.S. in the form of a private-label for the casino operator and not focus on real-money. “One of the first things Foxwoods asked us was, ‘do you have a national brand in the U.S. … an online casino?’ We told them no, not in the U.S., in Europe of course we do and it has been running since 2002, but in the U.S. market we do not.”
Designed to enhance player retention and boost new player acquisition for land-based casinos, Greentube Pro integrates proven loyalty strategies with the mass appeal of online and mobile play into a custom branded experience.
