Yggdrasil Gaming’s latest spellbinding slot opens the door to a mysterious laboratory where the player chooses between larger multipliers and larger spreading wild patterns to put together their own magic mix of bonuses.
Alchymedes does away with free spins; instead it has players chasing the best mix of spreading wild pattern and multipliers by completing levels. Players complete levels by scoring line wins on all symbol positions.
Once all positions have been part of a win line, the level is completed, and the player can choose between the chance for better wild patterns or better multipliers for the next level. Each level-ending winning spin is also awarded with a multiplier that has been rising throughout the level.
There are more than 15,000 spreading wild patterns in the game, while each level starts with a x1 multiplier that can increase as high as x100. The game also includes a bonus feature, which can be triggered at the start of each level and awards one of six rewards, from additional wilds on the pattern, to coin wins, to higher and more frequent multipliers.
Jonas Strandman, head of gaming at Yggdrasil Gaming, said: “Alchymedes is a set in a time when science was seen as magic. Giving players control over multipliers and wilds means they can find the right formula for their bonuses to unlock big wins.
“By basing the game on a level format we have built suspense and excitement into Alchymedes, giving players an incentive to keep spinning the reels to progress through the game and boost their chance of winning big.”
As with all other Yggdrasil’s slots, Alchymedes is built on the supplier’s HTML5 framework iSENSE 2.0 that comes with the standard perks – slick user interface, fast download speed, portrait mode and of course Yggdrasil’s collection of in-game promotional tools, BOOST and social sharing tool BRAG.
Yggdrasil’s portfolio of slots contains a wide range of popular casino games, including Vikings Go Berzerk, Big Blox and progressive jackpot slot Joker Millions.
Its collection of in-game promotional tools, BOOST, hands operators the power to run a number of features designed to boost engagement and retention, including innovative in-game leaderboard and raffle engines.
Meanwhile its BRAG tool allows customers to watch replays of winning spins and share them with friends and fans on social channels.
Yggdrasil was the winner of Slot Provider of the Year at the 2016 EGR B2B Awards, the latest in a growing list of accolades including Gaming Software Supplier of the Year at the 2016 International Gaming Awards, and Software Rising Star at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards.
