For obvious reasons, a lot of time and money is spent on customer-facing products within the casino space. After all, these are the devices that initially attract customers and keep them coming through the door and to experience the gaming floor or hospitality venues.

But equally important to a sustainable gaming enterprise are the plethora of back office technologies that streamline internal operations and provide vital relief to bottom line costs. Casino vendors are aware how important these back office solutions are becoming to gaming operators, and in response are constantly releasing new or improved products, systems and services. To help wade through this sea of solutions, here is a recap of some recent new product releases and upgrades that deserve a second glance, as determined by the editors of Casino Journal.

Visual One PMS v8.7—AGILYSYS:

Anti-money laundering compliance solution—EVERI & VIZ EXPLORER: 

Everi Holdings, the casino gaming industry’s single source provider of gaming products and payments solutions, has entered into an integration and technology license agreement with VizExplorer, a leading provider of operational intelligence solutions to the gaming industry. Pursuant to the new partnership, VizExplorer will be Everi’s exclusive partner for anti-money laundering (AML) systems and Everi Payments will integrate VizExplorer’s proprietary platform with Everi’s AML Compliance solution for casinos to provide enhanced suspicious incident identification for Everi Compliance users.

According to a press release, Everi will leverage VizExplorer’s Data Integration Hub to provide faster queries over large sets of AML Compliance data to enhance the depth of the information provided with Everi Compliance, and create additional data research opportunities for suspicious activity reporting.
