Just in time for Valentine’s Day, love is in the air at SugarHouse. The casino hosted its first wedding and reception this past Saturday in The Event Center, as couples are now celebrating their nuptials at Philly’s casino.

The Event Center at SugarHouse Casino features a 30,000-square-foot multipurpose space that can be configured for grand receptions or smaller, intimate ceremonies. With an open floor plan, the column-less ballroom has unobstructed sight lines and features floor-to-ceiling windows with an outdoor balcony that overlooks the Delaware River, providing an elegant backdrop for capturing memorable wedding photos.

The casino’s dedicated event services team is primed to oversee every wedding aspect so that couples can tie the knot in unforgettable style at SugarHouse. The Event Center’s additional features include pre-function rooms, a bridal suite and green room, dedicated coat check, and direct access to the banquet space from the casino’s free parking garage. Guests under the age of 21 are welcome in The Event Center, which is separated from the gaming floor.

“The Event Center at SugarHouse has first-class accommodations to make every couple’s wedding dreams come true,” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. “The breathtaking views of the Delaware River and Ben Franklin Bridge add to the unforgettable experience — not to mention free parking for wedding guests.”

Couples will savor the special day with delectable dining options provided by the casino’s in-house catering team. Operated by world-renowned Gibsons Restaurant Group, the catering team serves high-end steak and seafood options as part of SugarHouse’s customizable menu. The casino also offers original cakes and sweet treats to help couples celebrate their wedding day.
