JACK Entertainment LLC recently announced that Greektown Casino-Hotel’s transition to JACK Detroit Casino-Hotel is underway and set to be completed on May 1, 2018. This transition to the bold JACK brand will coincide with the opening of the casino’s new dining and entertainment experiences.
JACK Entertainment began installing the 1,500-unit, state-of the-art exterior and interior signage package to showcase the JACK brand earlier this summer. This is the most dynamic interior and exterior signage package that JACK Entertainment has unveiled and the process will literally reach new heights on September 30, as the immense structure for a sign that spans the width of the hotel’s rooftop is being lifted by helicopter to the top of the 30-story high-rise.
“Detroit is JACK’s hometown and we want to make a big splash with our new brand and the casino’s dramatically expanded new dining and entertainment offerings,” said Matt Cullen, chief executive officer, JACK Entertainment. “Our entire team is eager to introduce all that’s new to the city and our guests.”
In addition to launching a new brand in the spring, the casino will also be debuting entirely new dining and entertainment experiences. A multimillion-dollar renovation is currently underway to completely transform the former Market District into Monroe Market. The new dining destination will feature six new fast-casual eateries in a unique, contemporary setting. A new bar is also being added to the casino floor. This new showcase amenity will feature craft cocktails, Michigan wines, and an impressive selection of imported and Detroit-brewed beers.
The casino is also adding a ramen noodle bar to its diverse list of food offerings. Currently under construction, the restaurant will feature pop-culture décor and serve up traditional Japanese ramen with a Detroit twist. The menu will also include an array of classic nigiri, sashimi and specialty sushi rolls.
JACK Detroit Casino-Hotel joins JACK Entertainment’s three Ohio properties to form a strong and powerful JACK brand. JACK Entertainment’s portfolio of properties includes JACK Cleveland Casino, JACK Cincinnati Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino, a Cleveland-area thoroughbred racetrack and racino.
More information about the transition and new amenities will be announced in the spring.
