NOVOMATIC Americas Sales, LLC recently announced Kathleen McLaughlin has been appointed to the NOVOMATIC Americas executive team in the role of vice president of marketing. McLaughlin brings over 28 years of casino industry experience, and results-driven integrated marketing to the role, where she will oversee all marketing and communications. She will report to Rick Meitzler, president and CEO of North America and will be based in the Chicago area. As vice president of marketing, McLaughlin will oversee all facets of NOVOMATIC Americas marketing including brand and advertising, product marketing, public relations and more.

McLaughlin began her 28-year career in gaming by launching the first ever player tracking system at the Las Vegas Hilton and moved into slot operations with Mirage Resorts, Inc., in the early 90’s. She led Riverboat expansion into Illinois as the director of slot operations and slot marketing for Hollywood Casino, Inc., and was recruited to spearhead marketing for WMS Gaming, Inc., where she launched the MONOPOLY product into the North American Gaming market. McLaughlin also held various corporate electronic gaming positions with Caesar’s Entertainment including; director of slot operations, vice president of product development, and vice president of gaming strategic sourcing. She served as the global managing director of slot marketing and operations for the Las Vegas Sands Corp., with overall responsibility for opening The Venetian Macau, the Palazzo Hotel Casino and also the Four Seasons, Macau. McLaughlin has also been COO for Gaming Capital Group in Oklahoma and has consulted for numerous companies globally on product development, gaming operations and global licensing. She has been honored with the “Great Women in Gaming Award”, has been on the cover of Global Gaming Business, Casino Enterprise Magazine, and featured as “One of the Top 25 People to Watch” and “One of the Top 10 People to Watch in Nevada.” She has also been a member of numerous product advisory boards, and editorial advisory boards, and has been featured as a key speaker at G2E.
