Osage Casinos celebrates $160 million Tulsa Casino grand opening
Osage Casinos recently celebrated the grand opening of its new $160 million Tulsa casino and hotel. Located just four minutes from downtown Tulsa, the entertainment venue brings a state-of-the-art gaming floor with high-limit gaming, a world-class event space, a 141-room hotel and a full-service brewery. In addition, the new casino provides a sports bar, grill, café and pool for guests.
“We are thrilled to open the doors on this large investment for Osage Casinos,” said Byron Bighorse, CEO of Osage Casinos. “We have the best casino patrons in all of gaming, and we know they will love our newest entertainment venue as much as we do.”
“The new Tulsa Osage Casino in downtown Tulsa brings a great entertainment experience with the new games, event center and hotel,” said Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear. “This casino revenue provides financial support of Osagelanguage and culture activities, including the Osage language Immersion school. All profits go to education, health, housing, language, culture, and the other programs for our Osage people. Congratulations to all those involved in bringing this project into operation.”
The newly constructed Osage Casino is a two-story, 247,000-square-foot casino and 74,000 square-foot hotel. The hotel also includes one large or three smaller banquet meeting rooms equipped to host any type of meeting, gathering or event.
As part of the grand opening celebration, guests are encouraged to enjoy other amenities of the entertainment complex like the large outdoor pool and lounge area and the full-scale, on-site brewery, featuring locally brewed beer from Nine Band.
This multimillion dollar gaming venue reportedly opened without disruption to the older facility located next door. The day the new casino opened, the existing casino closed.
