Live! Casino & Hotel recently announced the appointment of Jodi Pestka as the new director of events and promotions.
In her new role, Pestka will be responsible for the successful implementation of all Live! Casino & Hotel special events and promotions, as well as invitational promotional programs and offers. She will oversee the life-cycle of both on and off property events that includes research, planning, implementation, evaluation and analysis. She will also organize efforts to drive rated play and stimulate slot and table games play with tournaments, dinners, gift giveaways and tier-based promotions. In addition, Pestka will manage a team consisting of coordinators and representatives that will ensure a warm, welcoming and exciting environment for each program.
With over 15 years’ experience, Pestka brings extensive strategic marketing management and entertainment planning to her new role from resorts and casinos around the country. Prior to joining Live! Casino & Hotel, she was the director of marketing and advertising at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa located in Reno, Nev. Her role included managing entertainment and events, implementing advertisement plans and organizing all promotional efforts. Pestka also held roles at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Okla., Jumer’s Casino & Hotel in Rock Island, Ill. and Isle of Capri & Rhythm City Casino in Quad Cities, Iowa.
