Cox Business Center in Tulsa will once again be ground zero for all things tribal gaming when the annual Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association (OIGA) conference and tradeshow comes to town this month.

The event, which will take place July 22-24, will feature the conference content, networking opportunities and tradeshow floor attendees have grown to love and expect. On the entertainment front, OIGA 2019 will open bright and early Monday morning with the John Marley Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Page Belcher Course. The Monday late afternoon/evening slate of happenings includes the Global Gaming Women reception and the annual OIGA Poker Tournament along with a Women’s Blackjack contest and a Bartender Wars competition; all capped by the OIGA Kickoff Party which will take place at Cain’s Ballroom.

Other entertainment activities at OIGA include the OIGA Awards luncheon and a reception on the OIGA tradeshow floor.

The session slate for OIGA is new, improved and expanded. Sessions titles and descriptions include:

  • Exploring the Strategic Business of Finance- Funding capital and financing can take many forms and drive numerous opportunities, especially if it’s strategically done. Financing tribal economic development can be is its own “Game of Thrones,” requiring creative and competitive financing models to meet the future demands of tribal economic sovereignty. Listen in as these financial advisors talk to the various strategies they have developed to strategically position their clients.
  • Sports Betting: Who is on Your Team- Sports betting is expanding rather quickly around the country and experienced resources are becoming a valuable commodities. From the “owners rep”-type advisor who ferrets out the best suited provider and technical requirements, to the internal operations group that operates and promotes the casinos sports betting offering—you want experienced and well-trained people. Find out how to address this potential resource shortage and who understands what your property may need.
  • Class II / Class III: The Ongoing Evolution of Technology- The slot floor remains the consistent lifeline to casino revenues. TRADESHOW FLOOR PREVIEW

As always, leading gaming industry providers will be displaying their latest and best wares at booths on the OIGA tradeshow floor. What follows is recent news and product releases from some of the companies that will be present at OIGA, in their own words:

AGS (booth 1208): AGS launches a steady stream of new Class II game content into the market each month. Everi (booth 1114): At recent tradeshows, Everi featured new hardware platforms and gaming content that can engage players at higher levels and help enable operators to generate higher returns on their investments in its products. Discovery Channel’s Shark Week on Everi’s new fully featured banked product Empire Arena is one such product that may be displayed at its OIGA booth.
