PCI Gaming Authority d/b/a Wind Creek Hospitality (Wind Creek) has appointed Kathy McCracken to the role of executive vice president and general manager of Wind Creek Bethlehem. 

McCracken steps into the role as Wind Creek launches initiatives which will further enhance the property's position in the region. She is a long-tenured veteran of the gaming industry, with a deep background in operations, marketing, and systems.  McCracken has been with the property since its pre-opening and most recently served as the executive vice president of marketing and operations. 

Wind Creek continues to invest in its Bethlehem location. The company recently received approval to begin construction on a second hotel tower and convention space and plans redevelopment of Machine Shop #2 into an Indoor water park and entertainment complex. With the strong leadership of McCracken in the top spot, the property is now poised to take that monumental step forward.



High 5 Games (H5G), a leading independent casino games provider, has tapped Jesse Cary for the newly created role of vice president strategy as the company prepares to launch its social casino into the real money gaming market. 

Cary is an experienced technologist and joins the company from Bede Gaming where he served over eight years as a technical director of the platform provider.

As part of his new role, he will be responsible for H5G’s iGaming platform strategy, advising on technical platform design, platform as a product, as well as engineering organizational structure. Cary’s immediate focus will be to ensure the successful launch of High 5 Casino and help take the B2C brand into new markets. 


Prairie Meadows, a top entertainment destination in Iowa, has promoted Bradley Rhines to the role of executive vice president.

Rhines joined Prairie Meadows in 2015 as the property’s marketing director and was promoted to senior vice president and chief strategic officer in 2017.

“Brad has shown stellar leadership and foresight as our senior vice president and chief strategic officer over the last few years,” said Gary Palmer, president and CEO of Prairie Meadows. “His new role as executive vice president plays a vital role in our succession plan for the future. I have every faith and confidence that he’ll expedite our mission and goals well into the new decade and beyond.”


MGM Resorts International announced that Jim Murren, chairman and CEO, has informed the company's board of directors that he will step down from his position as chairman and CEO of the company prior to the expiration of his contract. 

Murren will continue to serve in his current leadership roles until a successor is appointed. The board has formed a committee of independent directors to conduct the search process. The committee is working with a nationally recognized executive search firm to promptly identify and evaluate candidates to assume the role of CEO.   

Murren has served as chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts since 2008 and has been with the company since 1998.



Sports Information Services (SIS), a leading supplier of 24/7 betting services to online and retail operators globally, has promoted William Morris to head of international racing.

Morris joined SIS in 2016 as digital sales manager, playing a key role in growing the company’s digital business, both domestically and internationally.

He previously worked for the Racing Post for eight years, focusing on business development initiatives and strategic planning, as well as delivering Racing Post’s B2B division’s digital strategy. 

In his new role, Morris will be responsible for managing and growing SIS’s international horse racing rights portfolio, which forms an integral part of the company’s betting channels including its new 24/7 Live Betting Channels. 



Peninsula Pacific Entertainment has named Doug Fisher to the post of general manager for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City. 

Fisher was most recently general manager of Kansas Crossing Casino + Hotel in Pittsburg, Kan., and has almost 25 years of casino operations experience, including several years in management positions at Diamond Jo Casino locations in Dubuque and Northwood, Iowa. 

In December, Peninsula Pacific Entertainment announced plans to purchase 100 percent ownership of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City from Warner Gaming. The deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2020. 



Kansas Crossing Casino + Hotel has named gaming industry veteran Jeff McKain as general manager. 

McKain has been assistant general manager at Kansas Crossing in Pittsburg, Kansas, since 2017. He has held leadership roles in casino operations for more than two decades, including regional director of slot operations at DiamondJacks Casino properties in Louisiana and Mississippi, in addition to slot management at Isle of Capri Casino locations in Kansas City and Bossier City, Louisiana.
