George Galinsky was named Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications for Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) in June of 2014. Galinsky has been marketing for the organization for over 20 years.
His main focus began at the flagship property, Mohegan Sun, in Connecticut, but his work has expanded to include all current and future MGE owned, operated and managed properties. He is responsible for overseeing brand marketing strategy and execution for Mohegan Sun, Mohegan Sun Arena, Mohegan Sun Pocono, the Shops at Mohegan Sun, Resorts Casino Hotel, Ilani Resort, Paragon Casino Resort, Fallsview Casino, Casino Niagara and Inspire South Korea.
Notably, Galinsky spear-headed and launched Mohegan Sun’s online TV series, “Back of House”, which can be viewed at BackofHouse.TV. It is now a multi-award winning show that gives guests a peek behind the curtain at the hospitality business, reinforcing the authenticity of the Mohegan Sun brand. The show follows a collection of inspiring resort employees behind the scenes and front of house as they lead and manage major grand openings, celebrity signings and appearances, casino special events, food preparation, headline concerts and more. “Back of House” enters its third season in the fall of 2019.
