Dennis ConradDennis Conrad
President Emeritus
Raving

Dennis Conrad is President Emeritus of Raving Consulting Company and its former Founder, Owner and Chief Strategist. He has 44 years of gaming industry experience, including titles of Director of Casino Marketing, Director of the William F. Harrah Institute of Casino Entertainment and Corporate Vice President of Employee Training and Development. Early in his career, he also held a variety of frontline casino positions, and has been an avid casino player all of his adult life, two experiences he feels were instrumental in his gaming industry success. In his Casino Marketing career, Dennis is known for “starting stuff” that makes a difference in the gaming industry. He was one of the very first innovators with Party Pits, table game instruction programs and “Executive Invitational” styled VIP events. He created the Best (and Worst) Casino Promotions franchise, Raving’s Host Conference, the Casino Marketing Conference, the Cutting Edge Table Games Conference, Raving’s Indian Gaming National Marketing Conference, the Annual Indian Gaming National Marketing Survey, Raving’s Solutions Magazine and a host of other innovations, programs and events. A firm believer in recognizing achievements in the gaming industry, Dennis pioneered the Romero Awards, the Barona/VCAT Award for Excellence in Indian Gaming Marketing and the Tribal Spirit of Giving Awards. He has spoken at numerous gaming conferences around the world and has been a columnist and feature writer for Casino Journal for 20 years. Dennis was instrumental in the raising of gaming industry funds to establish the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling as a difference-making organization. He is still currently active raising dollars and awareness for the Notah Begay III Foundation and its work on behalf of the health of Native American children. He is a graduate of Stanford University and was the recipient of the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award for Casino Marketing.
