Johnny WalkerJohnny Walker
Executive Director of Gaming Operations
Muckleshoot Casino

Johnny Walker is Executive Director of Gaming at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Wash. A self-described “gaming geek” who loves to crunch data, Walker leads gaming operations for the largest casino destination in the Pacific Northwest. He guides a team of more than 600 in the operation of over 3,400 video gaming devices, 60+ table games, and the state’s largest Poker facility. Based on his belief that Native American gaming is the future of the industry, Walker took on the role of Director of Gaming for Muckleshoot Casino in December 2008 and hasn’t looked back since. Some of his accomplishments include the introduction of off-track betting to the casino floor, a partnership with the Washington State Lottery which led to the casino’s first-ever Scratch ticket, and capturing a market first with the implementation of electronic roulette. He was named Executive Director of Gaming in June 2019. Walker is well known for launching new properties including riverboat casinos in Mississippi and Louisiana. With over 25 years of industry experience, Walker also held leadership roles at Station Casinos and Binion’s Horseshoe in Las Vegas, Nev. (At the latter, he was mentored by the gaming legend himself, Jack Binion.) Prior to joining the industry, Walker spent ten years working for The Walt Disney Company. When he’s not on the casino floor, Walker enjoys spending time with his family, taking American Sign Language classes, and hopes to one day earn a private pilot’s license.
